My name is Dan Wardrope and I live in Hove, England.

I am sick and tired of reading about all these Guru’s and their sob stories. Yes, its inspirational when you read how they have pulled themselves out of the dumps and made money for themselves and their families.

But you have to think, are all of them true? Or are some people lying? I was watching a ‘Guru’s’ video (not going to mention any names) the other day and he was telling everyone about how he was well paid rapper who was number one on myspace, then was a professional skiier who landed on his head, then lost his brother, then lost his cousin and then found himself on the streets. Yep, well done mate, but c’mon I have heard it all before in some form or another! No disprespect, it just sounds like a bit of sales pitch to me.

Me, I am not going to give you any sob stories.

I had a great life before I started with internet marketing. In fact I had a great house that I owned (well the bank owned!), various other properties throughout the UK and France, a well paid job which I enjoyed and a beautiful wife. Of course i still had money troubles and worries (as most middle class people do), but life was good!

I would be lying if I tried to invent some sort of sob story to sucker you in! Why bother…

The reason I started my online adventure was because I couldnt see myself in the rat race for the next 40 years. That kinda depressed me.

That alone was enough to drive me, and I didnt need eviction and a suicide thoughts to make this work for me.

A BIT OF A BIO (FOR THOSE WHO CARE!)

I moved to the UK in September 2002 from Australia, looking to see the world and accumulate some stories to tell later on in life. It wasnt meant to be a long stay, however I met the beautiful Emily soon after, and we were married in May 2009.

I wore a kilt, and we were married in Scotland at Duntreath Castle. It was sensational. If you get to kniow me better, I may even forward some photos (dudes wont care, but the girls will!). It was a true fairytale.

I played alot of basketball up until 2009, and was lucky enough to play all over the world during my, what I like to call, ‘right place, right time’ career. Check out one of my favorite photos of me playing for Scotland (dont ask) in Melboourne, Australia

Its a long story!

Professionally, I graduated from UNSW in 2000 with a Chemical Engineering degree and quickly moved into the 9-5 mode working in the Water industry. It wasnt long before I was doing the same thing in Scotland, then Brighton, then Hove. I enjoy my job, but have always looked for ways to escape the rat race. After reading ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ I realised pretty quickly that the best way to get out of the rat race is to have a passive income.

I have a number of investments (including property) and I can honestly say that the internet offers far more potential than anything I have done before. Nothing beats waking up in the morning and seeing $$$ signs in your clickbank or paypal account. Earning money in your sleep? Wow, that blows me away. In fact, because of the UK time difference, most of my money is earnt whilst I am asleep! Pretty cool hey!

Guys, I am just your regular guy, who loves sport, loves a beer and loves his life. **UPDATE** In late 2010 the ‘penny dropped’ with internet marketing and I was able to give up my day job for good. I want to help you get to that stage folks!
