Hi Guys,

I wanted to run through with you a few snapshots of the WordPress Express creation procedure over at Wealthy Affiliate University

As you will see, it takes a matter of seconds, if not a couple of minutes at the most.

Step 1 (0 seconds)

You have either an option to create a new wordpress express website, or create a ‘WA Blog and funnel’ website…. Blog and funnel is a conversation for another day! But anyway, you just click on Word Press Express and head onto step 2.

Step 2 (2 seconds)

Step 2 asks you to click on on the ‘creat blog’ tab. You will see I have a test blog out there at the moment called ‘make moola online’… Its just a tester really – i havent started promoting it yet. Actually I dont think I will – make moola online is probably not a keyword phrase many people (if any) search for online and I would be hesitant to say that its a good domain name. But, I am straying from the topic here. Step 2 is clicking on ‘create blog’ – thats it!

Step 3 (10 seconds)

Step 3 is install a new domain. You need to head on over to someone like Go daddy and purchase your domain name. To start off with I would just buy a .info domain for less than $1. From there you have to point your WA Nameservers to your WA Hosting account (Remember you will not be able to create a WordPress Express Website with being a member at Wealthy Affiliate University). This is pretty easy to do, however if you drop me an email or a comment I will explain further. Then press ‘continue’

Step 4 (20 seonds)

The next step is to name your website and select a theme. I would suggest naming your blog/website the same as your domain name. Of course you may spend a bit of extra time searching for your favourite wordpress theme – there are that many to choose from. I chose a fake domain name whilst doing this for your info (I am a huige basketball fan, and last time I checked www.nba.com was taken!)

Step 5 (30 seconds)

Almost there guys! Now you just have to check you have the right domain, name of blog, and theme.

Step 6 (35 seconds)

And there you have it – your blog or website created in a under a minute. If you havent changed your nameservers over, the website creation tool reminds you to do just that, as well as giving you your relevant passwords and login information so you can head over to your website admin page and start uploading content.

You will also notice at the bottom of the page there is a specialised blog training section which goes into detail on how to monetize your blog etc etc.

Obviously I have used this as a dummy case and dont actually own www.nba.com, however it really is that easy!

Signing off for now,

D-dubbs
